Our Ambassadors!

Meet our elite group of burger enthusiasts who have been carefully selected to evaluate the best Novemburgers across East Ontario. They will taste each Novemburger from our Platinum Restaurant list and score them on criteria on everything from taste to texture to presentation. At the end of the month, scores will be tallied up, and the highest rated burger will be crowned Top Novemburger of 2024!

Revello Williamson

Food Reviewer and Cultural Enthusiast

Self-proclaimed ‘Island Boy’ Revello Williamson has embraced life in Canada by exploring Ottawa’s diverse cultural pockets. Known for his warm approach to connecting with people, Revello lives by the motto, “What you eat is never as important as who you eat it with.” He’s thrilled to join Novemburger, ready to share his enthusiasm for the city’s food scene.

Jennifer Madigan

Chief Operating Officer, Syntax Strategic

Jennifer Madigan is a seasoned communications pro with a background in TV news — having spent nearly 15 years telling stories locally in Ottawa, on Parliament Hill, and internationally. Now Chief Operating Officer for Syntax Strategic, she has dedicated the past eight years to helping clients achieve their marketing and communications goals. Jennifer also proudly serves on the UWEO Board of Directors. As a passionate foodie, she loves Ottawa’s diverse restaurant scene and is excited to support Novemburger!

Mahsa Taj, the face behind @mahsa.sold on Instagram, shares their journey of celebrating LGBTQ pride, fitness, and life’s little moments in Ottawa with their wife, Banoo. Together, they are thrilled to join Novemburger, showcasing the city’s best burger creations and supporting local businesses.

Jordan Pizzuti is a food writer and content creator dedicated to highlighting Ottawa’s vibrant hospitality scene. Known for his “best of” series and culinary showcase videos, Jordan is on a mission to establish Ottawa as Canada’s next big food destination. With extensive burger experience, he’s excited to bring his expertise to the Novemburger campaign and support a local cause.

Banoo Ilami

Lifestyle Influencer

As part of a duo with her partner, Mahsa, Banoo Ilami is excited to be a Novemburger Ambassador, exploring Ottawa’s vibrant food scene and highlighting the city’s top burger creations. She looks forward to supporting local businesses, connecting with her community, and sharing this delicious journey.

Stephen La Salle

Executive Chef, Lionhearts Ottawa

Stephen La Salle is an Ottawa-born chef with three restaurant openings and a career in hotels under his belt. Recently, he transitioned from the restaurant world to become Executive Chef of Lionhearts Ottawa, a charity focused on food and goods recovery. Stephen is passionate about food, Ottawa’s culinary scene, and providing food access for residents facing food insecurity. Outside of the kitchen, he enjoys spending time with his partner Nicole, his “1.5” Dalmatians, Ottawa craft beer, and a good pun.
