Today we are recognizing four organizations as Community Builders of the Year for their incredible work to prevent gender-based violence and help victims in our communities.
We are so proud of the work done by everyone at Ottawa Coalition to End Violence Against Women (OCTEVAW), Lanark County Interval House, EVA-End Violence Against Women-Renfrew County, and La Coalition de Prescott-Russell pour éliminer la violence faite aux femmes.
Check out OCTEVAW Executive Director Yami Msosa’s appearance on CTV News Ottawa from this morning’s CTV Morning Live.
“Having an award like this really creates momentum for our movement to recognize that our work is being seen.”
