Brad Bissonnette

Brad Bissonnette is the Chief Financial Officer at United Way East Ontario, where he leads the organization’s financial strategy. He oversees budgeting processes, ensuring alignment of financial resources with the organization’s goals. Brad provides strategic guidance on leveraging the organization’s financial position to maximize community impact, emphasizing to ensure donors and supporters feel confident in United Way’s stewardship of resources. It is this dedication to excellence and due diligence that has consistently earned United Way East Ontario a top rating from Charity Intelligence Canada since 2018, based on their assessments of financial transparency and social results.

Brad holds a degree in Business Administration with a specialization in accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). His diverse professional background spans the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. After working across these various sectors, Brad chose to focus his career with a charitable cause, where he is committed to ensuring financial resources are used to create meaningful change.

A lifelong resident of Ottawa, Brad has witnessed the city, and surrounding communities evolve over the years. He ensures United Way East Ontario is well-prepared to meet the changing needs of the region. Brad believes that his role allows him to stay connected to local communities and organizations, deepening his commitment to Eastern Ontario.
