Lauren Dodds
Deputy Director at Environment and Climate Change Canada
Lauren Dodds is a Deputy Director at Environment and Climate Change Canada where she leads work on energy transition under Canada’s International Climate Finance programming.
Lauren is passionate about supporting organizations to fulfill their highest potential and serve their communities’ needs. She has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, in strategic planning, program management, impact measurement and evaluation. Previously Lauren has worked for Employment and Social Development Canada, KPMG LLP, and Engineers Without Borders Canada.
She is a graduate of Carleton University and the University of East Anglia where she received both an Honours Bachelor Degree in Political Science as well as a Master’s of Science in Impact Evaluation for International Development.
Lauren is from Ottawa, and she has lived in Ghana, Uganda and the United Kingdom. She is a passionate and caring member of her community that is always looking for solutions that create measurable impact in the lives of people across the globe and within her own community.
