Policy Manager, Employment and Social Development Canada
Lauren Dodds is a Policy Manager at Employment and Social Development Canada, where her team works on the design and implementation planning for the Government of Canada’s forthcoming $755 million Social Finance Fund.
Lauren is passionate about supporting organizations to fulfill their highest potential and serve their communities’ needs. She has worked in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, in strategic planning, program management, impact measurement and evaluation. Previously Lauren has worked for KPMG LLP, Engineers Without Borders Canada, and Apathy is Boring.
She is a graduate of Carleton University and the University of East Anglia where she received both an Honours Bachelor Degree in Political Science as well as a Master’s of Science in Impact Evaluation for International Development.
Lauren is from Ottawa, and she has lived in Ghana, Uganda and the United Kingdom. She is a passionate and caring member of her community that is always looking for solutions that create measurable impact in the lives of people across the globe and within her own community.
