Terms and Conditions
By accessing our website or using our voting platform to participate in the Ultimate Burger Battle campaign, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
Eligibility
This contest is open to legal residents of Ontario of any age, however, individuals under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent. By voting, you confirm that you either meet these age requirements or have obtained the necessary consent.
The contest is not open to United Way East Ontario employees, their advertising and promotional agencies, or any other company associated with the contest.
Contest Period
The contest opens at 12:00 AM on November 1, 2025, and closes at 11:59 PM on November 30, 2025. All times are Eastern Time (ET).
How to Enter
Visit minimum three or more different restaurants and cast your vote to win big! Enter for a chance to win the ultimate grill: a Big Green Egg MiniMax EGG Ultimate Nest Kit.
- Pick up your official passport at a participating restaurant across East Ontario. The passport is not required to claim the prize, you can use it to track your visits.
- Bring it along as you visit participating restaurants and order the Ultimate Burger Special.
- Record your visit in your passport to track your burger journey and you must vote for the People’s Choice Award at least three times, at three different locations to qualify.
- Once you reach the minimum three votes, registering one vote per location visit, you will be automatically entered into the draw in our voting registration system.
Voting Rules
One Vote Per Location Per Day
- A user is permitted to cast one vote per day for each restaurant location they visit. If you eat lunch at one participating location, you can eat dinner at another and cast a vote for each on the same day.
- Votes are recorded based on the timestamp of submission. Any additional votes submitted for the same location on the same day will be discarded.
Voting Integrity
- We prioritize honest participation. Votes identified as spam or considered fraudulent may be removed at our discretion.

By participating and submitting your vote, you agree to be added to our monthly newsletter where we will announce the winners, share the latest news and updates on our work, impact stories and more. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Data Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected during voting will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our platform, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined in that policy.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website and the voting platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of United Way East Ontario and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.
Prize and Winner Selection
One (1) winner will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the contest period. The draw will take place after the contest closes, and the winner will be contacted by email within seven (7) business days following the draw. If the selected winner does not respond within five (5) business days, another eligible entry may be randomly selected.
Additional Terms
Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded; no cash equivalent will be provided. By entering, participants agree to the use of their first name and last initial in United Way East Ontario promotional materials (e.g. “Congratulations to our winner, John B.”). The winner will be contacted using the information provided on the voting form and must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question before they can claim their prize. This is a long-standing requirement under Canadian law for promotional contests.
This contest is administered by United Way East Ontario and is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by any third party. By entering, you agree to comply with all applicable laws and contest rules.
Limitation of Liability
United Way East Ontario is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information provided through the voting process.
Modification
We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform after modifications signifies acceptance of the new terms.
