School Food Infrastructure Fund 2025-26
United Way East Ontario has been selected by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) to receive $1 million funding to further distribute to eligible non-profit organizations within Ontario and Nunavut under AAFC’s School Food Infrastructure Fund (SFIF). For more details see the AAFC news release.
The SFIF supports not-for-profit organizations to improve infrastructure and equipment for school food programming across Canada.
Below are our investments for June 1 2025 – March 31 2026. UWEO is working with five partner United Ways to make sure much needed infrastructure projects are in place to support our communities across Ontario and Nunavut. These investments are determined by an open Call for Proposals process, unless otherwise indicated.
