The 2020 Call for Proposals is now open.
Only Canada Revenue Agency recognized charities, or organizations sponsored by an agency recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency as a charity, and working in the social services field throughout the United Counties of Prescott Russell will be considered for funding.
United Way invests in projects that align with its Focus Areas:
All That Kids Can Be – Improving school readiness, access to early childhood learning, after school and literacy development programs
Poverty to Possibility – Breaking the poverty cycle through employment, financial literacy and education initiatives
Healthy People, Strong Communities – Improving access to social and health-related support services while supporting community engagement, integration, and settlement.
New for 2020-2021:
- Vulnerable seniors – Successful Aging Priority Goal: any program that addresses the multiple dimensions of the vulnerability of seniors living both in the urban and rural setting will be subject to special consideration, based on the growing need in our region.
- Successful applicants will be expected to submit a final report at the end of the program. United Way will work with applicants to choose indicators that reflect the program’s goals.
