What is Novemburger?
NOVEMBURGER is an annual burger festival taking place each November across Ottawa, Prescott-Russell, Lanark County and Renfrew County. It boosts traffic to local restaurants and eateries while raising much needed funds for local needs. Restaurants compete for the Top Novemburger of the Year, Most Novemburgers Sold, and Peoples Choice awards.
Why Novemburger?
Novemburger serves as a campaign to support those in need in a new and engaging way. The campaign helps local businesses thrive and attract new customers. The goal of the campaign is to help boost the profiles of all of the delicious restaurants and eateries across East Ontario while giving back to those most in need in our communities.
How did it get started?
Novemburger started in 2019 by United Way of Thunder Bay and this event has quickly become a community favourite, sparking lots of enthusiasm and community involvement amongst participants and partners.

How can I cast my vote for the People’s Choice award?
It’s easy! Visit our Vote page to cast your vote.
How many times can I vote for my favourite burger?
You can vote once a day, but just a heads-up—we might remove any votes we think are suspicious. We want the people to be heard!
What are Ambassadors?
Ambassadors have the sizzling task of tasting each burger from our Platinum Restaurant list, while grading them on a criteria including taste, originality, concept, execution, and more. They help us spread Novemburger love across social media by creating a buzz, and rallying fellow foodies to join the fun!
How will Novemburgers and winners be announced?
We will be introducing participating restaurants’ Novemburgers on our website and through social media. Once the month comes to an end, we will also be announcing all the winning restaurants and highlighting all of the delicious good that has been made throughout the month!
