Women United presents:
A Conversation with Dr. Vera Etches
As International Women’s Day 2021 will take place the same week as the one-year anniversary of the World Health Organization’s characterization of COVID-19 as a “pandemic,” join Women United for a discussion about a year in crisis and women leading the fight against the pandemic.
United Way East Ontario’s Women United is proud to present, A Conversation with Dr. Vera Etches. As the City of Ottawa’s Medical Officer of Health, Dr. Etches has been a true leader in our response to COVID-19.
During this virtual event, Dr. Etches will share her experiences over the past year, reflect on the long-term challenges facing our communities, and how we can work toward a more equitable future.
There is no cost to attend. However, we invite you to make a donation when you register for the event to support Women United and our investment in women and their families facing issues that have been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Once registered, you will receive an email with a link to the online platform and any additional information a few days prior to the event.
