United Way East Ontario is holding our annual community breakfast in partnership with Algonquin College, Perth Campus, to celebrate the work of United Way in Lanark County and Smiths Falls. 

Here are the details

  • Tickets are $10 for the public and $8 for students.
  • Includes a full special breakfast of pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit and other treats.
  • Tickets are available for purchase at the front office of the Algonquin College Perth Campus with cash only.
  • Part of the proceeds from each breakfast purchased will go towards United Way.

United Way hosting breakfast with algonquin college on November 19th

United Way East Ontario (UWEO) will hold its annual community breakfast in partnership with Algonquin College on Tuesday November 19th, to celebrate the work of United Way in Lanark County and Smiths Falls.

This breakfast event is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend. The breakfast begins at 7:30 AM, until 9:30 AM in the cafeteria of the Algonquin College Campus, located at 7 Craig Street in Perth. Jamie Law of Law & Orders will be preparing a wonderful buffet breakfast for all to enjoy.

“This is a great chance to experience and support United Way’s work in the community,” noted UWEO Lanark Advisory Council Chair Helen McIntosh. “At the breakfast, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about how United Way moves the mark on a wide range of local issues in Lanark County and Smiths Falls. Join us to meet our staff, volunteers, and local partners, and to learn about how we help youth, seniors, and many others in between, reach their full potential.”

“Algonquin College has a long tradition of supporting our local United Way, and this is an excellent opportunity for us to show that support,” said Dean Christopher Hahn, “This is also a great occasion to welcome the community to our campus. As a courtesy to our visitors, the campus parking lot will feature free parking for the day.”

Mark the date in your calendar – November 19th, 7:30am until 9:30am, at the Algonquin College Campus in Perth –we hope you will join in on the celebration breakfast for United Way and help us make a difference in our community. All money raised in Lanark County stays in Lanark County in our 100% Local effort.
