Over the course of the hour, we will discuss the common questions that mentors will want to ask, the specific challenges that a mentor may encounter, and the resources you can suggest when someone needs other forms of support to deal with their current challenges.

About Mentoring Ottawa

Mentoring Ottawa is an ongoing series of public lectures and events aimed at improving mentorship practices and expanding the benefits of mentorship to all sectors—all while helping address the greatest challenges our communities face.

About this session

This session will be a moderated panel discussion delivered entirely online, through MS Teams video conferencing. Organizers will take steps to ensure the privacy and security of attendees. Participants will need to register in advance and will be approved to enter the panel discussion only after arriving in our waiting room.

Microphones and chat functionality will be turned on by default. All participants will have the chance to ask questions of our panel. We will do our best to ensure all attendees can listen and participate, and will be using closed captioning for this dialogue, provided by automated Microsoft technology. This event is limited to 100 participants.
