At this kick-off breakfast event, you will hear the benefits of being a mentor, both for your own career development and the difference you can make in the lives of others. We will introduce factors that make mentorship successful, and aid you in growing this important part of your leadership style.
Delivering this session will be David McKendry, author of Leadership Lessons Learned from Our Mentors, and Senior Fellow with the Canadian Electricity Association. David is a strong advocate of mentoring and has delivered his message in conferences and sessions across North America.
Mentoring Ottawa! Is an ongoing series of public lectures and events aimed at improving mentorship practices and expanding the benefits of mentorship to more sectors—all while helping to address the greatest challenges our community faces.
